Complete, turn-key renovation of 1,000 sq. ft. 2-bedroom, 2 story condo in San Jose, CA including design, electrics, plumbing, procurement of all materials, appliances, furniture, electronics, and utensils. The owner is an entrepreneur who didn’t have time to manage the renovation and wanted a turn-key solution. The owner met with the company once to show the condo and explain what he wants to do. The second meeting was in three weeks, the company provided a 3D design showing how the condo will look like after the renovation and what would be the total cost.
The owner agreed on the budget, gave the key to the company and got the key from a completely renovated condo back in three months. The company completed the renovation and bought everything, including utensils. The owner hadn’t visited the condo even once during the renovation. All his involvement is that he received just a couple of text messages asking if he likes a bed, refrigerator or TV.
The renovation company met the time and budget completely.
1. Small bedroom upstairs didn’t have a door, because the window is partially in the hallway and partially in the bedroom.
Solution: A sliding door which consists of three parts is been installed. Now a tenant living in the small bedroom has a private room and can close completely or open any part of the door. To be able to have different lighting in the room and the hallway special shades which allow to have different lighting for different parts of the window are been installed. 2. Small bedroom upstairs didn’t have a bathroom. To take shower a person had to use the bathroom in the master bedroom which was very inconvenient.
Solution: Condo had a bathroom downstairs with a sink and a toilet. The bathroom was completely renovated. Big sink was replaced with a shower and a small sink was installed in between the toilet and the shower. Now the person living in the small bedroom has a full bathroom and doesn’t need to bother people from the master bedroom. Check out the pictures before and after renovation >>
3. Bathroom in the master bedroom didn’t have a door, which separated the bathroom from the bedroom but had a door inside the bathroom which separated the room with a sink and a bath with the room with toilet with a shower. The bath was very short. The bathroom had only one sink.
Solution: The length of the bathroom is being extended to put a longer bathtub. An entrance door is being installed. The door, which separated the room with a sink and a bath with toilet and a shower is been removed. The bathroom is being fully renovated, two sinks and new cabinets are being installed. A heating floor and the quietest exhaust with a movement sensor is being installed.

4. The master bedroom had a closet that occupied a half of the wall and the second part of the wall was a waste of space.
Solution: A new closet with the light is being installed against the whole wall.

5. Kitchen had a drier on the one side of laundry area and a washer on another. At the same time a huge refrigerator occupied a huge space in the kitchen.
Solution: Relocate the drier to the side with the washer and put one on another. To fix the problem with an exhaust for a hot air from the drier, a new drier was modified and the direction for the exhaust was changed from going to the back of the drier to the left side. Hot air from the drier’s exhaust now going to the small outdoor storage. A new refrigerator is being placed to the place which was occupied by a drier previously.

6. Kitchen had a small narrow bar counter and a sink right in the middle of that area. The owner wanted to have a nice wide bar counter so guests can sit and eat, drink and chat from one side of the bar and the host can serve them from another.
Solution: Since the refrigerator was moved from the kitchen to laundry area, sink is being moved to the place where the refrigerator was before. This allows to remodel the bar counter and make it a little bit lower and much wider. Area under the new bar counter is using as additional storage now.

7. The condo didn’t have a real exhaust above the stove, so when people cook food, all condo smells like food.
Solution: A new microwave with exhaust was installed. A pipe to draw out cooking steam and smell is being installed and now it’s going under the sealing outside. Check out the pictures before and after renovation >>
8. First floor had a very low ceiling and zero lighting. The owner wanted add more light and visually make the ceiling look higher.
Solution: The ceiling is being completely renovated. LED lite which can change the color from a remote is being installed by perimeter of the room. The whole ceiling is being redesigned to have different levels and white squared LED lights are being installed. In the dining room three hanging lights are been installed to visually separate living room from the dining area. All these changes made the ceiling look much higher and gave the room a lot of light. 9. Fireplace had a metal unpleasant doors.
Solution: New glass doors and white shelves above are being installed.

10. The closet downstairs was full of old stuff nobody used. The owner wanted to use it for shoes. Clothes and as a storage for water.

Home Automation. Thermostat Nest, Wi-Fi outlets and switches along with three Google Home Mini are being installed and setup. Now the owner can turn on/off music, lights and thermostat either by voice or via his smartphone.
